Well said DKSDAD. Nothing beats years of experience and learning from some good mechanics. In the 20+ years I've worked in the Automotive industry have also seen guys with great big tool boxes filled with all kinds of tools that can't even do the simpliest jobs. It all boils down to what I like to say, "It's not the tool, but the person using it." And yes, I've even seen some Female mechanics run circles around the guys when it comes to turning wrenches.
And for the record DKSDAD, I got my big toolbox to consolidate my other 3 I had around my garage, lol

I hear you on consolidating, I have a top and bottom set with a side cabinet another bottom and a tool cart. I also keep a mini fridge right next to them and a radio on top of that. Maybe I should upgrade to the box that was mentioned. No wait, mine are all paid off so forget it. But I have learned that I better start locking them because I am starting to see things missing or out and I know my 2 boys like to play the tools.

Yeah, I think It's that way in about any field you go in. Just because your rich and can afford the best equipment does not mean you are good at what you do.

Much as I agree with all that and can relate to it being I only have a small toolbox until my SnapOn stuff is shipped...

nice looking tool cabinet Kidd.

good luck with your schooling, and remember.......every day is another day to learn something new, so be sure to pay attention in your studies.

but you need to think up a new name for your build thread (if you do one for this).
