Default Cleanin the dashpad...hardcore dirty.

Ok So I am making very good headway on my project truck. And for the older 80s dashpads, original. not cracked or damaged or nothing. It is filthy. It was so thick I had to lightly scrape with a putty knife to get the heavy stuff off first. Once I got that off I rubbed a lot more off with a rag but I want to get all the dirt out of the tiny grooves and such. What would be the best/worst stuff to use to get it completely clean? Like as if an auto detailer guy did it. I want this thing to shine.
