okay so my little niece was over at my house with her mom and she came over to me holding something....the 4x4 emblem from behind the drivers door it had fallen off. Now to the point how do i get the black gunk off the pillar

goo gone, an eraser wheel, use your thumb or any other adhesive remover will do the trick.

ive tryed all but the goo gone i cant even get through it with a pocket knife it still sets a couple mm thick. its soo agrvatinghelp mee

even an eraser wheel didnt work?? hmmm id say spray some goo gone on there and let it soak for a few minutes then try again. you could try simple green too i know a few guys that have had success with that otherwise you could try useing a razor blade to scrape it off(depending upon how steady your hand is)

Don't give up, it will come off eventually. When I debadged mine, those badges on the B-pillar seemed like they could have been the hardest to remove. I finally got a corner of it up and it came off clean without much residue left over.

Granted, without the emblem on there, its harder to remove the adhesive but you will eventually get it. Good luck

use a razor blade and very gently slide it along behind the goop should work but be careful not to cut into the paint that can cause rust which = not good and when i debagged mine i simply used an eraser wheel
