engine swap or moded
since Jisher opened this thread back up (and i never saw the last couple of comments............)
yes, we know a 350 is 5.7L (knew it way back in Sr. Kindergarden). i was refering to the price.
when i first read it, it sounded like he was refering to the price, not the engine size. hey, it was late & i was getting the last minute details finished for the wifes b-day finished.
hell, i'm still posting late @ night (guess that wasn't a vg excuse then).
BAH! i've got work in a few hours, i'm going to bed!!
sorry Jisher. about your question.............it seems like alot of cash for a non-complete engine.
price around @ a speed shop, see what they can do for you.
"350"? what were you looking @ Benedict? the page opened up to a $929 5.7L long block assm. still a good deal considering all of the "new" parts that are included in it.

They went to a new gen of LS-series motor in the 03 pickups, in fact I have one in my Sierra (5.3 ftmfw) and if you can get it for cheap... do the swap with that engine, I can't describe in words how much I love the 5.3L
