leaking oil

Default leaking oil

i have a 4x4 and the oil filter is up front. like a month ago i change my oil and oil filter no problems then. now 23 weeks ago i see oil on the ground and whipe all the oill off the filter and lines. now this morning i see oil on the ground. and once again the lines and oil filter had oil on them. i remember reading on some fourm that gm use ****ty lines n all and all. what could be the problem.

Default RE: leaking oil

It's the crimps on the lines. I remember reading somewhere that someone had taken the stock lines and had a hydraulic shop fab up new lines to use... Don't know the details nor do I know if there were any custom adapters that needed to be made. The only sure-fire way that I know to fix it is to replace the lines with new factory replacements.
