right on psychropod, thanks

it looks like being a 95 i got:
- the CMFI (Central Multiport Fuel Injection) fuel injection system
- aOBD II system with a EDI Enhanced Distributor Ignition (EDI) system
- and a PCM located on the top of the shock tower area near the firewall under the hood passenger side

wow owning a bastard-child 95 sux sometimes!

No, itlooks like you lucked out, because you got the later setup that`s like mine. Now if you want to use an S-10 programmer, just make sure it`s designed for the CFMI system with the OBD II computer.

If it is a 95, it is a CPI motor. One single batch fired injector. 96+ have SCFI which has six individual, sequentially fired injectors. Completely different fuel systems and engine management.

is CPI = CMFI or TBI or totally different

talked to jet themselves and they told me my only opition for mysetup is a piggyback chip that increases hp, torque, and shift firmness for $329.95

not exactly what i wanted to hear, oh well
