i got friends in germany still from my resent tour of 3 years there and i think it would just be a fun swap. im going to be rebuilding my blazer anyways so i figure go big or stay home

If you want to go big. IMO, I would do an ls7 turbo/super - charged. Going from 2 different manufactures means more money needed to be spent and more troubles. All in all, do what you want to do, all I can say is good luck to whatever you do.
