01 Loosing Gas

I recently replaced the fuel pump for my 01 about 3-4 months ago. Took a drive to the store and didn't have any issues going and coming back, and let it sit for a few hours. Tried to start it and gas started pouring out from the rear (too dark to see if it's coming from the tank or a connection point that's leaking). having the truck in my garage, with a gas furnace and fuming out the entire house, tried to get it out by throwing it in neutral and pushing it out, but just turning the ignition to "ON" not even to "START" it started dumping gas again. I didn't try ACC to unlock the gear shift but needed a breather from the fumes for a bit!! Having a hard time finding causes searching the web, so if anyone out there has some tips or knows what is causing this the help would be appreciated

I'm a day late and a dollar short but
Most ignition switches should have the following acc, lock, unlock, ignition and start - just turn the switch to unlock and not all the way to ignition or just pop the hood and pull the negative battery lead and kill the power to the vehicle

Thanks for the tips I gotter fixed up yesterday!! bit the bullet and did a quick ignition bump to pop it out of park and into gear to move it, tried to be smart and put a catch basin under the leak area but was a few inches off and still got gas everywhere! Issue was the connection clip on the fuel line wasn't complete and that little gap cost me a quarter tank. Most likely when I had the fuel pump fixed, the mechanic reattached the line but didn't pop it fully together leaving it to slowly wiggle apart ......really simple fix......for a change :-) !!!

You know it, it was that big sucker! It had popped apart just enough and was blasting the gas out. Finally, a quick fix on this beast (well, quick as in 2 seconds to pop it together....FULLY, but since I had limited resources I spent a bit getting it prepped. But totally worth it to have a "don't think I won't get my hands dirty just cuz I'm a female" moment and not having to call my pops to help! Better yet, had my daughter help, she popped the ignition for me so I could see exactly which line was the culprit. I had her get underneath the back end with me so I could show her what line was it was and let her know she made this fix a breeze! Thanks for the heads up!1
