I have a 1996 S10 blazer with a 4.3 engine that has a ton of miles on it (230,000) and recently it developed a bearing noise. I'm considering buying a replacement engine from a salvage yard and need to know what years are the engines / trans. interchangeable. Currently considering a 2002 engine and trans. Will this work?
