so i can pick up a running s10 4.3l 4wd for $200. body is crap, interior is crap. all i want from it is the engine, tranny, transfer case, and axles. but the 95 being the first year of the vortec is a bit different how much is interchangeable? the ideal plan would be buy this truck strip the engine to block, get it machined and rebuild it myself then drop it into the blazer whenever its finished. but is it more or less interchangeable and if not what parts would i need to swap over. will there be any issues? as far as i know their the same engine other than the intake. also this isnt the first engine ive torn apart but it would be the first i rebuilt, any tips or suggestions?
