97 blazwer 4.3 engine miss wannafix it with dinomite soon please help
If the ground doesn't end up being the problem:
If you have the trailer tow option, there's already a 10 gauge battery feed wire back by the rear bumper. Connect it to a relay and use the grey wire to trigger the relay. Then run a wire to the fuel pump from the relay. Done that a couple of times myself
In theory, all you need is 14 gauge wire for that distance and amperage. A little bit of overkill never hurt a thing when it comes to wiring.

I didn't have a whole lot of time today I wanted to check the positive side voltage drop and I don't know if I didn't wrong but test lead from + to dvom then to back probe of the pump and my meter didn't change it went from 12.4v to 11.9 volts till the pump shut off. But when the pump was running I did hear a lot of fuel spray sloshing sound coming from the tank I'm gonna try the relay way o hooking it up but.was curious about the sound in the tank and why my meter didn't change to show voltage drop
