First... yes... I read the helpful "https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-articles-diy-29/4l60e-information-common-problems-compilation-37689/" thread... so I am not a total moron... just a partial one.
Okay... so it could just be a blown fuse... somewhere... it seems. But let me preface my problem... so others can spot what was not clear to me... or noted in others thread.
============
It was driving great... good fluid level, nice and red, etc...
First I got the sudden ANTI-LOCK BRAKE sensor light on... then I lost the speedometer... then I started to get 'slippage like' high rpm revving.
Okay... so I then 'cure' this with manual shifting... I had 1-2-and 3 that was iffy.... but "D" was almost like N... and 'slippy'. So I stayed manually shifting from 2--->3.
When I returned today... I checked fluids again (fine)... and then added 1/2 pint of Seafoam TransTune.
NOW... it seems I have gotten the just learned of 'limp home mode'.
I seem to start in 2 only... and have 2 only... but R is great, N is N... and park works fine. (Anti lock brake light still on. And I have no speedometer needle movement, but tach is fine.) I'm staying in the 2500 rpm range... and then punching up to 4000 and then shifting to N when I need to coast farther and faster.
Okay... so anything stand out to anyone.
I custom build Scouts... so a TF 727 I could go over all day... but I am Chevy-stupid... so please bear with me.

Thanks, -Steve

Thanks for that... ironically... it is *now* running "perfect" again... (!!!).
This might have been a stuck valve that was cleared by the TransTune... (maybe).
But... I am wondering more about it all happening moments after the Anti Lock Light coming on. Is this typical?
I will have a code scan though... (to check solenoid warning statuses...) and do a fresh tranny drain and fill. It has been suggested to use ORIGINAL DEALER tranny fluid... as came from the factory. (real or hype?)
Thanks! -Steve
