99 Blazer overheated blown head gaskets?

I finally got it off useing a big pipe wrench, how do I get the power steering/ ac bracket off the block I took all the bolts out and nuts. Except for two bolts behind the power steering pulley its already loose it just won't come out don't tell me I have to take off that pulley....

There are two hidden nuts. One under the pulley at the block and another near the exhaust manifold. Search for the D-tips article. It shows these two hidden fasteners.

Thanks guys for all your help I finally found those hidden nuts and it came out. Tommorrow I'm planning on taking the heads out do you guys have any pointers on removing the heads or any other things that may cause me any trouble? A nieghbor of mine said that the heads are probably cracked because water is getting in the oil he told me to buy a used pair of heads.

I have some heads from a 94 v6 astro van will they fit my engine?

Well I had the head rebuilt put everything back together and turns on but sometimes when I crank it will make a loud clunk noise like its back firing I took the distributor out and forgot to mark it so I had to move it around till it fired up. Is there a way to make sure the distributor in the right position?

yep that what happened thanks for the help I got it working after many many trys, but it runs great rebuilt heads, but now have a p1870 code TRANS!!! and hard 1-2 shifts..... any suggestions?
