Seems I have some engine trouble...or so the mechanic says. Low 80 lbs in #'s 1&3 cyls. Misfiring and losing power.
Anyway...rebuild the top end? Rebuild the engine? get a new 4.2 short block? Crate 350/290?
Hate when this happens...Fix the engine, blow the tranny..etc.
Any one have experience putting the 350 in a 4x4?

 

Do you mean 4.3? Otherwise, good luck fitting that straight-six 4.2 in the engine bay.

 

Er...Ya, 4.3...fingers faster than eyeball and brain.
