engine swap

Default engine swap

Hi everyone, I have a 2000 2 wheel drive blazer with a 4.3 v-6 and I need to know if I can replace it with a 4.3 v-6 out of a 2000 blazer with out having to change the oil pan or any thing else? your help would greatly be appreciated. thanks.

If they are both 2000's with 2WD and the same type transmission and rear differential, I think it would be a direct swap.

my mistake, I forgot to add that the engine was coming out of a 4 wheel drive vehicle.

There are no differences in the engine block. Oil pans can be swapped while both engines are out if there are differences in that regard.

there is a difference in oil pans from a 4wheel to a 2wheel drive and the oil pump pickup is different to

yeah just swap the pickup and the oilpan I have done it before.
