Default Found an oil leak - quick question

I had to replace my oil pressure sending unit recently, and of course I had to pull the distributor to get to it. When I pulled the distributor out and I was looking it over, I knew I needed to replace the o-ring, but didn't have one on hand. It's been in that engine for over 200,000 miles now and I just knew it wouldn't seat right when I put it back in.

Sure enough, everything is back together and my distributor is leaking oil. The auto part stores are telling me I can't just order the o ring by itself, so here's my question. The o ring currently has flat sides - I assume from being pressed into place for so many years. Will a general o ring work to put back in it's place or do I need a special o ring of some type? I've got access to an o ring kit that I was thinking about using, but I can't find any pictures of the original o ring. If it is a special type of o ring, can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's just a flat circular gasket, not an o-ring. Felpro 70194. Any local auto parts store should have this.
