Question Front cover oil leak

Hello
Fired up the new engine in my blazer.
Have a leak at the front cover to oil pan.
How hard is it to remove the front cover.
Or is there anyone out there who knows any tricks to fix this problem.

Thanks for the help.

Generally speaking (since you haven't provided any vehicle specifics), you must loosen the oil pan allowing the front to drop down as well as pull off the water pump to get the front cover off.

The cast pan is going to make things difficult. It doesn't flex like a stamped pan. You will have to loosen the whole pan up to drop it down.

I would try loosening it first before removing the front diff...
