Grinding When Clutch Engaged (pressed down)
Its my 1995 Z85 4.3 with NV3500 5 speed manual.
Yesterday in the morning i drove it around, perfectly fine. Then last night i tried starting it up again, instantly hear a grinding noise. The truck is running now the sound is gone.
I press in the clutch all the way and hear it again, I quickly shift and get going. The whole time it would grind when the clutch was pressed in.
*odd side note: everytime I pressed in the clutch and it grinded, the air bag light would flash. Then at one point my stereo quit working (the lights still on) and the windshield wipers would not work.
Today, It worked fine this morning. Then as I'm coming home it did it again. This time the stereo wouldn't work again nor my power windows.
minus the electrical problems, does it sound like a pilot bearing? or throwout bearing?
