Default Help, tranny question

I recently bought a '96 4x4 (push button)Chevy Blazer with a 4.3L vortecand 4L60E. The 4.3 was supposedly bad. I pulled it and replaced it with an '83 carbed Chevy 350. I know the tranny won't work now since it's computer controlled (it's a two piece bellhousing). What year 700R4/4L60 tranny can I bolt up to the transfer case or will I need to find a new transfer case as well.

how many bolts between the t-case and tranny adapter?

The older t-case had 5 and the newer have 6. You will need a t-case with 5 bolts to mount up to the 700R4/4L60 tranny. OR you might be able to swap your currenttranny/t-case adapter and make it work just fine? Contact Advance Adapter, they are the experts in mating t-cases to trannies.

Thanks for the reply Hanr3. There are six bolts between the adapter to the t-case. I need to use a newer style t-case since the 4x4 is push button. I'll check out Advance Adapter too.
