Help with a trans

i need to know what is the easyes way to remove the bolts from the trans to the engine? i am going the rplace the sun shell and the sungear with the large bushing and the seals.i also need to know if there is any tool that i have to have that someone would not normaly have. and is there any way to get the spring packs out with out useing the tool for that, or can you just push down and remove the snap ring? thanks for any and all help. garry

i went on youtube and found how to's and just searched the web and found info on making your own tool and where to buy the tool. but i decided against it and got a rebuild from Monster Transmission

You might as well do a complete rebuild because it requires taking pretty much everything apart anyway. Make sure you have a book and read through it 3 times before you even start. You will need at minimum some transmission snap ring pliars($25). I'm not sure what all you are replacing exactly.
If you are going to be working on anything with springs, I made my own compressing tools out of 1/4" thick 1" wide steel and some All-Thread. Just get creative and figure out a way because plan on $100+ for just about any tool you need to work on a transmission.
