Intake gasket
If I remember correctly, there is not a cross over in the rear of the lower manifold, but it has been an awful long time since I have had off the manifold of the older CPI motors... Anyway, if that is the case, then there is no reason why the gasket would need to have the rear port blocked off as there would be no place for the coolant to go anyhow.
What Swart said.
Intake manifold doesn;t ahve anywhere for the coolant to go, however you do need to seal both sides of the gasket around those openings so the coolant doesn't travelto other parts of the engine.
