Default lifter noise

started the truck today(30*outside) and sounds like I have a lifter leaked off. The oil preasure is at 20lbs. when it is usually at 45lbs. rev it a little the preasure comes up to about 50lbs Let it go back to idle and it drops to about 10lbs comes back to 40lbs with rpm. Intake manifold is leaking some antifreeze but has been doing that for sometime. I'm hoping I have not hurt the engine yet. As soon as the lifter quits ticking the oil preasure starts acting normal. 60lbs on highway in town, temp at normal. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Stop driving it immediately, fix the intake gaskets, change the oil and re-evaluate oil pressure. Coolant in the oil may have taken the bearings out already.

This is good advice. I would, at the very least) pull the dipstick and see if it looks like there's water in the oil. Antifreeze in the crankcase can kill your bearings VERY quickly.

Yeah, water/coolant doesn't have very good lubricating properties. Hopefully you don't have a milkshake motor
