Need some advice

I ordered two energy suspension motor mounts from SFX performance (online) and received only one mount thus far. From what I understand via e-mail from SFX, these mounts are in short supply and its going to take up to three weeks before energy suspension can manufacture and ship the other mount. Oh well... I just wanted to get some advice on whether I should go ahead and install the one mount I have now or wait for the other mount to arrive and do the job all at once. From what I have gathered these mounts are a major PITA to install so I would like to get a head start on it if at all possible. I just don't want to run the risk of ruining the new mount due to the other one being shot. Any suggestions? Thanks

I would say wait and do them at the same time. Hopefully, you can just pull the bolts and lift the engine a bit to get them swapped out.

You will double work yourself if you install one and wait for the other. These can be a PITA but not always. A floor jack, a buddy and a long pry bar speeds things up a lot. I would wait and do the job right the first time and you will not take the chance ruining the new mount.

Thanks to both of you.
Good point on making more work for myself. I suppose I'd be removing/installing everything necessary to install the mounts twice if I did the job per mount...
