Default oil leaking out

I have a 95 chevy blazer and i recently put a rebuilt motor in it and i have noticed an oil build up on the base of the intake next to the valve covers. The valve covers are on tight and theres no signs of oil leaking from the covers. were could this oil be coming from and how could i fix it?

Default RE: oil leaking out

Look at the gasket for the valve cover above where the oil is showing to be certain that it is not bulged out. It's pretty easy to over tighten the valve covers and bulge the gasket, causing a leak.
