Replaced Fuel Pump- Twice, won't start
OK, Illiuminati, I am in need of serious help. I have a 2002 2dr 4WD Blazer, that had a bad sending unit, so I pulled the tank and replaced the pump, buttoned it up, and it would not start. The Fuel Pump replay clicks when ignition switches on, and the pump sort of makes a noise, but does not run.
No fuse for pump that I can find, relay changed with no affect, the truck cranks fine and has good spark, but if apparently not getting fuel. pulled tank second time, broke first new pump doing so, replaced pump, and still no pumping. Tested all three pumps (two new and original) for very short time on 12 volt battery out of vehicle, all run with the added plugs.
I am at a loss as to what to do now, so I am hoping you guys will have some insights.
Thanks
Milton

No, I have not replaced the filter, but if the pump isn't running, the fuel filter is the least of my problems.
And what would cause the pump not to be getting the voltage, when the voltage was right before the new pump was spliced in, and yes, the wire are hooked up correctly, checked against the instructions multiple time and against the old pump wiring.
So i need ideas as to why there appears to be no power to the pump

read the 9th post and do this and listen for the pump running https://blazerforum.com/forum/engine...ressure-80201/ It will run for only 3 seconds. If you dont hear anything you may need to get a volt meter and check at the pump for power. This will take 2 people. one to jump the relay and one to check for power.. Remember it will only show for 3 seconds
