Question rough idle

Ok so my 95 blazer has a rough idle it sounds almost like it has a cam, has anybody else been faced with this and if so how did you fix it?

Test your fuel pressure, specifically leak down after the pump shuts off. You may have a leaky FPR.

if it sounds like you have a cam in it every time it idles, then your EGR valve is stuck open. remove it and blow compressed air in it to remove the carbon particle so that it can close and open properly. if not just replace it....and also use the HELP brand screened gasket to prevent it from happening again in the future.......
