Default Rough idle and engine just came on

1997 v6 4.3l Chevy Blazer 202k miles.
WHen I am stopped at a light the truck is puttering and when I press the gas the truck kind of putters and then goes. I notice the engine light blinking off and then stays on, this is random.

I installed a new gas filter 1 year ago.
Wires and plugs changed 1 year ago.

Error codes:
PO172 - Fuel trim bank one condition
PO175 - Fuel trim bank two condition
PO300 - Cylinder misfire detected - random cyclinders

Would the codes above make the truck run sluggish?

Thank all!

The explanations, diagnostics steps, and possible solutions for all three of these codes are located in Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

Also read through this whole thread as it deals with the P0300 code pretty much from every angle: The dreaded P0300 CAUTION LONG POST

Unhappy po3000/random misfire

new to the forum,so please have patience if i have posted this already. i have a 96 blazer 4.3lw that is giving me the above code. happened today while driving to work. engine was not warmed up and while driving approx 3-5 miles truck bogged downed, sputtered and ran rough.it ran like this while sitting at a red light and the mil came on.light turned green, took off and truck sputtered and hesitated momentarily then cleared itself and was fine. it does this at least 2x a week now. i have put numerous $$ into this truck in the last 2 years and it is killing me. gas mileage sucks, some days it runs great and other times it runs okay but you can feel that it isnt as smooth as it should be. i might add that also the oil gage is very erratic at times as well. at idle sometimes it will read steady around 40 and at other times it will bounce back and forth very erratically between 20-40. when driving it will stay steady around 60 or slighty over. there is no telling when it will do this. can the codes and the gage be connected. i had advice to change the dist/gear already. i am not schooled enough to test this and that or to take it (again) to be serviced.is there anything i should be pointed to look at that would be obvious. i can do minor repairs and have changed or replaced the following. tuneup (plugs, wires, cap, rotor 2 mo ago) fuel pump & spider system (gm-1yr ago),egr, ckp, mas and map all aftermarket parts (1-2yrs).
guys, sorry for the long post, but i am am very tired, frustrated and now poor. can or does anyone have this problem and offer suggestions on what corrected thier problems.

If I have time this week I need to check my plug and plug wires to see if there is any of them clogged. Possible one of the wires are bad. The last couple of days at a red light I would put my truck in neutral and the engine light would blink until I put into drive and go. If the wire and plugs are good I will look at the distributor cap and coil.

Have a 96 myself. Same rough idle and a somewhat odd surge at 60 to 70. If you mash the gas it goes fine. From most of my reading on here the 96 were big on wearing out the distributors. Also the fact that all it does is distribute the spark. The PCM actually uses the crank pos sensor for the firing. It uses the distributor to time the fuel injector pulses. Have slop in my distributor the last time I put a cap and rotor on. Just putting it off for replacing it yet.
