Bear with me!

I've got a 2000 Blazer, which I'm having a few problems with. Unfortunately, here in the UK, garagesseem stumped when I ask for help with my Chevvy!

On the dash, I have buttons to select 4Wauto, 2wd, 4hi & 4lo. Recently, they have not selected correctly, mainly I'm in 2wd, but when I need to select another, it just flashes and returns to 2wd.

There isn't any noise when it hops back.

Not good when I'm towing out of a muddy field.

Can any of you help?

when i first got my blazer, it was doing the same thing. it would flash 3 or 4 times if you press 4HI then return back to 2HI. after changing the fuse on the inside fuse panel, it worked fine...

there seem to be a lot of people with 4wd problems and there are plenty of threads with a similar topic. if you use the search function at the top, you might find more solutions andrecieve more helpto find out what is wrong

Thanks for your reply,

Will change the fuse - have looked at the other searches, willdisconnect the battery too - worth a try. Seems a common problem, great idea when it works!
