Hey guys, 2003 blazer 2wd when starting every now and then I get a screech or grinding noise. It hasn't done it in almost 6 months but just did it today after being at operating temperature then turned off and restarted within 5 minutes. It almost sound like the starter is not engaging? It has done it in the past at cold start and usually seems to happen more often when truck is hot and being restarted relatively quickly. Any ideas what it could be coming from? Truck starts right up no slow cranking just trying to get an idea of what is going on.
