Default Tranny Cooler

Previous owner cut the line to my transmission cooler and I'm needing a schematic or picture of the locations and connections of the hoses so I can install new lines. Also is the transmission cooler needed, it came with one so I would think it is. If anyone has any pictures of the hose connections and routing of the lines, please post those.

Hi and welcome to the blazerforum.

Now we would just need to know what vehicle you need that info for.

Make, Model, Year, Transmission, 4WD or 2WD, and if the trans cooler is the engine radiator heat exchanger or a separate one.

You're right Mr. Thomas. The cooler a transmission runs the longer it lasts. I'd check the transmission to engine bolts and the whole area to see if the transmission has been replaced. Most cases when the transmission scatters the cooler becomes unusable from contamination. If it were mine I'd get an aftermarket cooler kit. I use local store hayden kits and haven't had to use the lifetime warranty yet.
