Default Tranny Replace

Here soon im about to get my new tranny for my blazer.I have no clue on how to remove it nor do I want to attempt it. I'd rather let someone who knows what their doing take a wack at it.I was wondering how much I am looking at cost wise to have it removed and new one installed. I am really wanting to find a backyard mechanic to do it, so anyone around Huntington Wv give me a shout.

Default RE: Tranny Replace

Your best bet would be to call around and get an estimate. Rates are all over the place and this would mostlikely be a straight-up time of repair type thing at a mom-n-pop type shop. Dealerships use book time.

Talk with friends and family about where they've taken their vehicles to for service/repair. Word of mouth goes a long way.
