Default trouble pumping gas

I have a 2001 zr2 blazer. just staring today im unable to put more then a couple gallons of gas into the tank before the pump shuts off. i have read that over filling can cause back up pressure. i filled it up about a week ago and this is the first time i have tried to fill up since then. i dont think i put too much in last time, just stopped pumping when the pump stopped (didn't top off). also as a side note i recently have changed the pressure valve on the fuel pump. any thoughts?

Did you try a different gas pump?

LOL!!! That is what I would try first too, or just try re-positioning the fuel dispenser some are kinda picky.

Then if that does not work, I would look into a possible plugged/restricted tank vent. Did you get a fairly decent amount of air rushing out of the tank when you removed the gas cap??
