Can you post a picture of that hose and maybe the swelling?

What year is your Blazer? Assuming it is 4wd and has the 3-button controlled 4wd system, it sounds like it could be transmission fluid coming up from the transfer case. I heard of this happening but not after a transmission flush.

I changed it today with a high temp vacuum line from work. It pretty slipped right off as soon as I touched it. It was engine oil in the swelled line, I cleaned other line and check valve with sea foam.
The line going to the canister was also loose. I took Christine's advice and zip tied the lines snug. I put a clamp on the one that connected to engine. Happy to say after I replaced pcv valve a month ago i realized i have no oil residue in intake anymore. I noticed on my drive that my ac was cooler during idle. My idle was also more steady, didnt have that small 100 rpm jump it was having now during stop and go traffic.

Good you could fix it. On some rubber or plastic products engine oil can do this swelling.
