Default VERY weird gurgling sounds

Hi guys I have a funny one for you today... every time I rev the engine in neutral I get a gurgling sound from within the dashboard. It happens wheather I have the heater valve open or completely shut off... what could this be????

Well it is air in the heater core. Do a search and you will find a ton of info on on this subject.

Yup, check your rad level when cold and you'll find that it's low.

I'm glad that you see it as "funny"....check carefully for coolant leaks.

Like Chevy Lover said, check carefully for coolant leaks. The little leaks are hard to find especially if you use dexcool since it oxidizes and Temporarily seals the leak. I heard a similar gargling noise a month before my intake manifold gasket went. I learned the hard way when the buildup of oxidized dexcool finally went and my truck pissed out all of its coolant.
