Will this Valvoline fluid work in our transfer case ? Mines a 4wd 4 button it says it works with autotrak 2 systems.im worried cause I'm doing u joints and if I lose any fluid I Wana top up. Also my vehicle has 168000km should I drank and refill the t case ?

 

Yes, that fluid will work. You won't lose a ton of fluid when you remove the rear driveshaft, but some will come out. If it hasn't been changed in a long time (or ever), this might be a good opportunity to drain it all out and refill it with new.

 

ACDelco also makes an AutoTrak II fluid. I use that in my 4-door auto transfer case and I use regular Dexron III in my ZR2 for the 3-button "InstaTrak" model as described in the service manual.
