I usally change mine every year along with the air filter, spark plugs. Although I haven't changed mine since i bought the truck yet. I did get under it though to look at the Fuel filter(to see what I was in for) I found that I have the "Fuel nut" on one side and those damn plastic clip on the other side. So I go to the nearest auto parts store and find out I have to order the Filter because apparently they don't stock that one. So I laughed and went to another store and same thing( what the Hell) So needless to say I have to do this this summer.
