Default california intake

received the air intake from walnut california for a total of $ 55 shipping included.

they say after i make the install to disconnect the negative for 5 minutes then hook up again . that should make the computer rethink itself and make any adjustments.

does that sound right to you ???????

i am wondering if it will show a code.....

Default intake

hoooked up my $ 55 intake from walnut california and everything fit fine with no problems. took her out for a ride and she sucks air like a vacuum cleaners

looking under the hood at the drivers side by the firewall is a t fitting that looks like some window washer or that. the hose that goes from the t... to the edge of the drivers fenderwall and disappears. it has several breaks in it. how the heck do you follow this hose, and where does it go.

how do you replace it ????????

A little bit of effort with a search will turn up a multitude of posts about this vacuum line. The line should go into the vacuum reservoir located inside the driver side fender.

As far as replacing the line... Just get some new vacuum line of the appropriate size (take a sample in to the store with you) and remove the old line and install the new.
