Default cb question

i have a cobra cb in my truck and i was wondering how do i tell if in broadcasting when i talk. none of the truckers will talk to me. i can hear them talking and i pick up the noaa weather stations. i tuned it with the swr cal. **** to the cal. line but i dont really know if i broadcasting(transmitting) anything. anyone have any ideas. oh and my buddy took his out cause his broke so he cant help.

hmm. Maybe you cant transmit as far as you can receive? Im not really sure. If thats not it, then something is probobly wrong with your cb.

Find someone you know with a CB and see if they can hear you...

Make sure that your "mute" button isn't enabled...
