will a hitch from a 97 2 door fit a 99 2 door that doesnt have a hitch?

 

the part numbers are diffrent from 97 to 99 but i installed a 95 4 door hitch on my 98 2 door just fine and those part numbers were diffrent. so if you have access to a drill and a hammer as backup i would give it a try
