Hope to get back to my blazer.. one day
Just after Thanks Giving I picked up some random chest infection.. up until I started having chills.. by Dec 2, I tested positive for C19.. Dec 3.. was in the hospital.. spent a week in there which was no fun being in the covid unit.
got myself discharged with no special instructions (this matters lateR)
spent a couple weeks at home with that chest 'thing' actually getting worse. was sitting in the chair after dialysis one day.. and the nurse on duty says "you don't look well" my BP was ok.. maybe a bit high but that's normal.. and my heart rate was considerably high..
so she put the finger Pulse Oximter on me.. and my blood o2 levels were in the low 80%'s (99-95 is good) (95-90 is o.k) (89-80 is concerning) below 80 is bad news. at 67% you start turning blue..
so back to the hospital I go.. in the Meat wagon this time. spent 5 days in a rather nice private room since I was covid-negative this time.. got things better.. went home...
well here we go last friday. .still coughing my brains out... i coughed so hard I believe I've given myself an umbilical hernia.. I have a lump next to my belly button that when I push on it.. I can feel it in my intestines.. not good..
going to see the doc asap.. but I suspect I'm going to be back in the hospital yet again for this...
mean while my poor s10 blazer is still sitting in the air in my garage with no exhaust.. and a CPI system that leaks
oh yeah.. and someone tried to open my broken garage door while I was in the hospital so now I have that to fix
this is really not the way I planned to start 2022!
