How long have you had and how much have you put into your blazer?
Had mine a little over a week. Paid 2grand. Spent about 650 to get it were it needs to be at. Ball joints, Driver door, fluid changes, a broken panel in the trunk (found at junk yard for 10 bucks) Unistalled Sirus radio myself (didn't need it) That's it for now I'm thinking next step get rid of the ugly stock rims. I'm not a fan!!
I had a 94 S-10 before my Blazer. I put probably $5000 into it. (I fixed everything myself). Got the truck when I turned 16 in 2007. Transmission blew in early 2012. I got it with 98k miles, and it lasted me until it hit 193k. I bought a 2dr Cobalt, but it was lacking. Since I have a child now (Mistake, yes, wouldn't change it for the world), I bought a 4dr Blazer too. It's a nice one though. I only settled for the best. Paid $4500 for it. It has 75k miles.
I inherited a 1995 (Teal) 4x4 LT Blazer. Did the tie rods, front rotors, other engine maintenance.
I have to take it in for front alignment as it pulls wickedly to the right.
One question I do have of the forum. I've had the engine tuned - but it still runs rather rough. Plugs and wires replaces as it sat for a number of years. But at cold start up - check engine light comes on, runs rough and then evens our somewhat.
But at a stop - it seems gas starved a bit - a up and down type of idle - not much, but not smooth. I've heard that fuel filters on the blazer may be an issue - any other areas I should check?
Use the truck as my weekend warrior vehicle.

ive had my 99 ls 4 door carmel metallic, for almost a year now i traded a 98 cherokee for it, current mods; spare tire carrier torsion, bar crank, upgraded stereo/speakers,Z28 rims with 30's and debadged.only money ive put in it was for oil changes and gas, i usally trade to get things for it.
I might have posted in here, but its been almost a year since I got the jimmy
before the jimmy had a 94 s10 blazer
But the jimmy, paid 2400, and sofar have done, fuel pump, tune up, and oil change, and some misc parts from the junk yard
and the sub and amp, and new cd player, i would say with all that combined about 600$

It's been a while since I posted on here (years...) but I'm getting back into it. Anyways, I got my 2000 4dr 4x4 Blazer brand new in 2000 with 5 miles on it. Today it has 186,xxx miles. Now the fix it list:
Rebuilt motor X2 (first replacement got messed up during install, shops fault not mine. Ran for about 500 miles and blew.)
Rebuilt tranny X2
Rebuilt rear end
Power steering pump
Fuel pump
1 new torsion bar
Rebuilt transfer case X2
Vacuum lines
New MAF
New brake lines
New turn signal switch
New radio and speakers (they all blew due to age maybe...?)
Upper and lower ball joints
Cat replaced x2
Exhaust replaced x3 (cat-back)
Numerous 'fix ups' involving bondo and paint to 'delay' rusting
Multiple sets of tires, batteries, oil changes, brakes, O2 sensors, etc...
And probably 100 other different things I probably forgot.
All in all, I'd put a good estimate at $100000 (haha) to keep this thing running. If it wasn't for my love of this truck, it would be scrap.

So when I bought mine it supposedly only needed an engine,I found out the hard way that the trans was bad also.
Paid $500
I rebuilt the engine $800
Trans rebuilt with new converter $750
replaced gas and brake lines.
Been working on it for 1 1/2 years.
Projected on road date Nov of 2012.
If it wasnt for all the time labor and cash spent mine would been parted out and sold.
