2001 2Dr 4WD, bought it new $21K and has 110k miles on it now. I'm replacing upper & lower control arms CVs and hubs. I collected the parts over the past 3 years after I noticed the CVs leaking. Had to add caliber mounting brackets, 1 rotor, pads, and stabilizer bar bushings to the mix. Total parts cost me about $700. I got one side done this past weekend and will start on the driver side tomorrow. I paid out the nose for an oil cooler pipe at the dealer today, $88, but at least I'll stop the only oil leak. A few years ago I did the upper & lower intake manifold gasket replacement that worked out very well.

Does anyone know where I can get rear axle bumpers called secondary springs? Dealer says they're discontinued.

Thanks to this Blazer Forum for the great tips I can find here to help me along.

I've had mine for 13 years. I don't want to think how much money I've put into it.

05 4x4, had since October 2009. Bought with 37k and it now has 48k on it. New tires, idler arm and replaced the spare tire gate latch. I would love to do more to it but I drive a work van all week. I can go a month on a tank of gas.

Default both rear speakers failed

1998 Blazer LT stock equipment; just noticed rear speakers don't work. Have seen other posts that replacing speakers will fix it. Do both speakers go at once or is there another more central problem?
