How long have you had and how much have you put into your blazer?
My 97' Blazer was my mom's old car. It broke down and it was sittin in the garage for a while and whe I turned 16 I decided I would take it. It need a new fuel injector and a lot of oil changes to get all of the gas out of the system. But after about 3 weeks it was up and running again.
So Far I've Done:
_______________
5% window tint
Spectre Cold Air Intake
2 Pyle 1600 Watt amps
4 3-way 600 watt speakers
2 12" subwoofers
Flowmaster Super 44 Exhaut
"Blacked Out" Tail Lights

205,052 mile '97 2wd four door. Paid $1000 last Nov. Came with new tires & newer brakes. Replaced all fluids. Copper plugs & new air filter. 3 new wiper blades. Replaced a couple interior & exterior pieces via a parts Blazer. Gave the whole thing a good cleaning. At the 209k mark & climbing. Original exhaust.
I've had my '96 for 4 years now and I've put in the following:
- all 4 ball joints
- Idler and Pitman arm
- Transmission shift solenoid
- Replaced broken mirror housing with heated mirrors from a '99
- New windshield (Father's Day present)
- Full tune up including plugs, wires, cap & rotor
- Fuel Filter
- Brake pads
Coming in the next week or so:
- Replace rear end including brakes
- Replace front diff
- Urethane sway bar bushings
- Replace saggy torsion bars
And possibles for the near future:
- Front bearings
- Fuel pump
- Who knows what else...

I got my '97 LT for $1300 in early May and I've spent about $1500 on it so far.
Replacement hood - looks like it flew open at some time... glass is cracked, too.
Replacement passenger side mirror.
Wheel bearing - had to have it done. I don't have the tools.
Leaking oil cooler line. Epoxy patch is still holding.
New rubber all around - the biggest single expense.
New mud flaps all around
On my To-Do List:
Figure out what that syncopated rumble is in the rear. "Rumblety-rumblety-rum-rum-rumblety -rum". One mechanic says rear bearing - 1300 bucks and another says rear axle bearing - 350 bucks.
Replace windshield - insurance covers that 'cept for the $200 deductible.
Water pump - if it turns out that is what's making the squeaking sound that just started.
A/C will have to wait 'til next summer and so will the sunroof.
The radio might work, if I can find an antenna.
Oh yeah - wiper arms. The blade flew off a few days ago in a downpour and lodged in the side mirror, so I was able to catch it.
