Bought new, now 102,000 miles, no engine issues since it tried to fall apart on me @40,000, when all the plumbing failed at once (water pump, heater, A/C). I service it religiously.

 

Well, the '97 is now at 207,000 miles, thought we were retiring it and traded it back to dad for a 96 with 185,000. Well, last sunday i developed a bad knocking (engine sounds like a diesel) so were back in the 97 and i'll tear into the 96 and see what i find. I have a 94 parts blazer i might pull the engine out of, it ran when parked, that chassis has 198,000.

107413 on a 97 Blazer. It had 73 and change when I bought it in 2009.

 

right now at about 148 miles. running good except it definitely needs new plugs.
