We're over 108k indicated - odometer was tampered with, no question about it. Wish I knew the real miles - got to be well into the 200k range. Indicated 77k when we bought it in '10, in a suburb of NYC. Judging from the condition of the original engine, I would say that should have read 277k ... could actually be over 400k now!

Hub bearings are starting to go. Gets real noisy on hard cornering. Steering box is totally worn out - has 4" of slop in the wheel. I still haven't fixed the 4x4 issue inside the front diff. I might just fix that, and throw a plow on it for next winter. Might retire it to yard duty. Depends on how motivated I am to throw a plow on this thing ...

177'000 mi or 285'000 km as we are used to.

Just got it back running by replacing distributor cap and spark plugs and ignition coil.
Hope it lasts a bit longer.

I have a spare engine sitting in the cellar with 100'000 mi on it, a transmission and distribution gear box with same mileage waiting to replace something that breaks.

Will be a long way I hope...

My 99 Bravada has 216,500. I have no real idea what kind of maintenance the guy had done to it. I plan to do the same maintenance on the Bravada as I do on my Alero. Oil changes every 3k- 3,500 miles, tune up every 60k, and other stuff as it comes up.
The great thing about the Bravada is that it is so much easier to work on than the Alero.

I have a 98 Blazer which I bought new. It is right at 300,000 miles with no engine problems. Started using Castrol and switched to the hi mileage Castrol after over 100K. Change oil my self every 4k. A few days before change I pour a pint of Marvel Mystery oil in and drive for 100 or so miles then change. Car uses a qt. of oil in 4k mi. When down a pint I top off and at change it's down another pint. It has a trailer towing package with oil cooler. I'd guess the oil cooler has contributed to long engine life. Have replaced trans. at 160,000, radiator(crack in plastic tank, I couldn't fix), 2alternators,other small stuff. Am in process of replacing intake gaskets. What a job! Good luck with yours.

I've got a 97 4dr 2wd blazer. gonna hit 364,000 in the next day or 2. I've been using pennzoil high mileage as far back as i can remember. It still sounds great, original engine, and never had any problems with the transmission. i bought it may 10th 2001 with almost 84,000 miles. i am so tired of hearing how i should get a new vehicle. My dad drives a 99 Sonoma, and he is closing in on 350,000 mile so there is no way I'm letting him end up with more miles than me. The only time I've taken it to a shop was for the recall on the windshield wiper motor, and i also had the door hinge replaced. I was told it would be ready that day, I finally got it back 3 days later. My biggest concern is the starter started grinding, after purchasing several i realized when i tighten the bolts the back end of the starter would rise, the outer bolt hole is cracked. I've been using a nail as a shim, it's been working great, I just have to tighten the bolt every now and then but other then that I'm looking forward to 400k. My next vehicle is gonna be another blazer, no doubt.

90,700mi on my '97 ZR2 I just picked up. The rest of the truck looks like it has well over that but the engine runs smooth and quiet. Hoping it'll last a lot longer!

249K on my 01 Bravada. The previous owner was my father in law and he bought it with 4K miles on it (still have the window sticker). He has replaced both headgaskets and the radiator. Since I have had it I had another transmission (used but lower miles) put in due to a broken sun shell gear, replaced the alternator, AC compressor, starter, water pump, and encoder motor. Runs great and virtually all of the miles are highway miles.

I'm just at 96K and for the most part it has never let me down. Although I am now having electrical issues.

Any thoughts on why I would have a voltage drop when the outside temp is above 65F and the vehicle is up to full operating temp?

I have done the following;
* Replaced the altenator
* Moved and or cleaned all grounds
* Replaced and or cleaned battery connections
* Re-flowed the soder points on the EBCM and moved the ground (I was getting the C0265 code)
