Dex-Cool is reccomended actually...the problem is that when neglected, it can have issues. Oxygen breaks it down and it begins to sludge, and the stuff that doesn't sludge can corrode the radiator parts and hoses. If you keep it full and watch for leaks and bleeds into the system, you should be fine with it (I'm still using it). Some people want to avoid all this and just put the regular green stuff in, but as I understand it the green stuff uses the same Organic Acid Technology that dex-cool uses...so I dunno[&:]

OK, I understand. Just make sure you flush and service at least at recommended intervals.
