been wanting to buy a k5 project truck so i can have my s10 and k5 this is what i found let me know if its a good deal and what should i be looking for when looking at this k5

900 bucks is not a bad deal at all i think just need professional opinions hahaha

I'm quite sure if that machine grew up in MD there will be more rust than "surface rust". Floor pans, Rockers, tail pain? When I looked at rebuilding in the MD area it was cheaper to just get a long block or crate engine.

Make sure the manual locking hubs actually lock.

All in all though $900 seems like a pretty good deal as long as you have the time to Nickel and dime her back together.
