Default S-Series Receiver Tube design?

i was just jumping around on the synergy offroad website and i came across the S-Series Receiver Tubes (http://www.shop.synergyoffroad.com/S...-RcvrTubes.htm) and i was wondering has anyone on here ever tried making a set and if so how do you like them? i was thinking about making something kinda like this > http://www.northerntool.com/images/p.../330694_lg.jpg to replace my front tow hooks and just put D shackles in instead of the hooks. how do you think this would work? or do you guys have a different design that works better.
