straight axle
does anyone know what strait axel will fit right in on a 91 blazer i know i need to do the leaf springs but what axel will bolt up to the drive shaft
#2
use a cherokee drive shaft, and any drivers drop solid axle will fit. Cherokee d30 and wagoneer d44 work best I believe.

yea those are the most popular axles, if anything breaks on those there are a million places that carry replacement parts.

i was reading that somewhere than i was looking an found a 95 cherokee but it has coils up front are they all like that or just newer ones or do i just replace the pirches for leaves

Probably will be easier to find an older Wrangler axle with leaf springs than trying to modify the Cherokee one.
Also look for Wagoneers...most came with D44s and almost all came with leaves.

You can do a co spring set up with control arms and such. That will give you a better ride quality but also involves more work. If you want solid axles for the purpse of off roading id stick with the leafs thats the simplest setup not too many things can break. If you are looking to replace your front end parts because of junky settup you may want to look into doing the coil spring setup, you can do it both for the front and rear. If u check the s10 forum someone did that with his 2nd gen 2 door i believe hes running 37's but ypu dont have to go that big
