General Chat Chat about all things Blazer (and related vehicles). Off-topic stuff should be in the lounge, and all mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

What do you guys think about this?

Electronic cutouts are awesome. Im not sure how they would sound on a Blazer though. had a 1979 Camaro with tons of engine work. Hooker Super Comp headers with an X-pipe and 3" pipes all the way back. The cutouts were put on right after the headers and it sounded mean and LOUD! I had a pretty high lift cam so it rumbled pretty nice.

These 4.3L Vortec engines do growl though. I say do it and put a video up for us all to enjoy!

Some words of wisdom: Everything is legal if the cops don't catch you!

I have electronic cutouts on my GTO and I like them alot but Im not sure how they would sound on a 4.3. But if you do decide to get them I would definetly look into DMH cutouts instead of QTP. I have some buddys with bad luck out of the quik time products. Such as not sealing right, motors being slow, and bad quality. DMH may cost more but they are alot nicer.
